Position Overview: The Director of Facility Operations for SDFC's Right to Dream Academy and Training Facility will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the campus. This role is crucial in maintaining a secure, clean, and well-functioning environment for athletes, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, strategic planning capabilities, and effective vendor management experience, all while demonstrating a commitment to creating a premier training atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership: Direct and manage all campus operations, ensuring exceptional service standards and operational efficiency.
  • Vendor Coordination: Supervise and liaise with external service providers, including security, grounds maintenance, food services, cleaning, and facility upkeep.
  • Financial Oversight: Develop and oversee the operational budget, ensuring financial responsibility and cost-effective solutions.
  • Contract Management: Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors, ensuring effective use of resources.
  • Facility Upkeep: Ensure all campus facilities, including sports fields and buildings, are properly maintained and operational.
  • Safety Protocols: Establish and uphold safety and security measures to protect all campus stakeholders.
  • Policy Formulation: Create and implement policies and procedures regarding facility management and maintenance.
  • Team Supervision: Lead campus operations staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Interdepartmental Coordination: Facilitate communication between maintenance and custodial teams and other campus departments.
  • Documentation Management: Oversee the documentation and record-keeping for campus facilities.
  • Event Management: Coordinate the planning and execution of campus events, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operations adhere to applicable regulations and industry standards.
  • Strategic Development: Formulate and implement strategic plans for campus operations to align with the academy's objectives.
  • Crisis Management: Provide effective responses to emergencies related to campus facilities.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Act as the primary contact for stakeholders regarding campus operations.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a combination of education, experience, and skills:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, Operations Management, or a related discipline; Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: At least 7 years in facilities management or operations, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership capacity.
