Education Sector Sales Director

We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to join our Education Sales Team as a Client Director. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales processes and outcomes for public and private educational institutions, growing a profitable pipeline and backlog of sales through deal origination, sales negotiations, and closure.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain trust-based relationships with C-level and departmental client executives.
- Originate and sell comprehensive deals with various integration and operational components.
- Orchestrate and lead the entire origination process for a large deal working with the Sales Support team and relevant subject matter experts.
- Focus on the entire sales life cycle of an opportunity from origination to closure.
- Ensure the implementation and follow-up of PruTech Sales Methodologies to maximize win probabilities across a portfolio of assigned accounts.
- Existing trust-based relationships within the education sector, with a focus on k-12 or higher-education executives.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience shaping, negotiating, and closing large complex multi-tower deals within the education sector.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience originating and capturing complex multi-tower service deals, preferably exceeding $5 million in value.
- Understanding of technology platforms such as Microsoft, Salesforce, AWS, Google Cloud, Adobe, ServiceNow, etc.
- Proven deal sales leadership in originating and closing multi-discipline services opportunities for education clients.
- Work experience in or sales to educational institutions.
- Conversant in emerging trends in IT and Business.
- Client-facing expertise from deal qualification through close.
- Ability to network across PruTech, establishing trust-based relationships internally for client sales objectives.
- High energy level, sense of urgency, decisiveness, and ability to work well in a team-selling environment.
- Strong facilitation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to interface and negotiate with senior client executives.
- Previous experience in conceptualizing, planning, and implementing new products or services for educational entities.
- Services delivery experience in consulting and/or technology.
- Experience selling new/emerging technologies.
- Ability to navigate a complex organization with several priorities from different parts of the education sector.
- Existing trust-based relationships with City of New York government executives - relationships with NYC Higher Education Institutions a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience shaping, negotiating, and closing large complex multi-tower deals within Public Services Clients.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience originating and capturing complex multi-tower service deals, preferably in value greater than $5M.
- Understanding of technology platforms such as Microsoft, Salesforce, AWS, Google Cloud, Adobe, ServiceNow, etc.
