**Culinary Manager**

**_Salary Range: $37,000 - $56,000_**

_Compensation is influenced by various factors, including education, work experience, and certifications. The final offer may vary based on the candidate's unique combination of experience, educational background, and skill set._

The Culinary Manager is tasked with overseeing, planning, and managing activities essential for providing outstanding customer experiences in the Riverside Café, while ensuring adherence to all health and safety regulations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. Develop and execute nutritional menu plans.

2. Supervise and mentor Assistant Chefs.

3. Ensure compliance with Department of Health Standards.

4. Coordinate and fulfill Cafeteria Requests.

5. Prepare and serve meals for individual employees and groups in the Riverside Café and conference rooms, including breaks, lunches, and some evening events.

6. Maintain food inventory, being mindful of pricing and availability. Ensure accurate tracking of all purchases through vendor invoices and a company-issued credit card.

7. Uphold cleanliness standards in the kitchen and dining areas.

8. Maintain all necessary records.

9. Perform additional duties as assigned.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

Education & Experience: A degree in culinary arts with three (3) years of progressively responsible work-related experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Skills: Strong focus on customer service, nutritional menu planning, and daily food service execution. Knowledge of safe kitchen equipment operation.

Licenses and Certifications: Must meet and maintain WI ServSafe certification and ensure issuance of La Crosse County Restaurant certification.

**Physical Demands:**

The physical demands outlined here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to communicate effectively. The employee frequently stands for extended periods, walks, uses hands to handle or feel, reaches with hands and arms, and lifts 25 lbs. regularly, and 40 lbs. occasionally.
