As a Culinary Service Associate, you will be assigned various responsibilities and tasks, adhering to standard operating procedures for your designated areas while ensuring a clean and organized workspace. Duties may vary depending on the specific Culinary Service Associate positions available.
The Culinary Service Associate will engage with customers at food counters, assisting in food preparation, taking orders, serving patrons, and maintaining cleanliness in kitchen and serving areas.

2. Execute administrative functions, which may include responding to inquiries from internal and external customers and staff; creating and modifying documents, records, and reports using standard software; maintaining filing systems; monitoring inventory and budget data; scheduling and preparing materials for meetings.
3. Complete all required training and maintain the skills necessary to fulfill the essential functions of the position as outlined by the department.
4. Student Success is central to Western's mission, and employees may be assigned to other areas or additional duties as needed to support this goal.
5. Stir Fry Cook Responsibilities:
Stir-fry cooks are tasked with opening the station daily, preparing rice, stocking products, preparing portioned foods for stir-fry orders, taking orders, maintaining a clean work area, and serving the chef's special of the day.
6. Line Worker Duties:
Line workers are responsible for adhering to franchise specifications for product preparation and service, including preparing make table products, assembling sandwiches, taking orders using technology, and maintaining cleanliness in the work area.
7. Burrito Line Responsibilities:
Burrito line workers are accountable for stocking and preparing products, serving customers, and ensuring a clean work environment. They must also be trained to work in the sandwich line.
8. Cashier Duties:
Cashiers are responsible for processing payments, navigating the point-of-sale system, restocking items, and maintaining cleanliness in beverage and food service areas.
9. Deep Fry/Grill Cook Assistant:
Assistants are responsible for cooking deep-fried and grilled items to management specifications, maintaining food stock levels, and supporting the lead cook with product preparation and cleanliness.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
