Key Responsibilities- First-Level IT Support: Be the primary point of contact for IT-related issues and provide timely and effective support to our business users.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Analyze, diagnose, and resolve user computer problems, and implement corrective solutions to ensure minimal downtime.
- Hardware and Software Management: Install, configure, test, maintain, and troubleshoot end-user workstations and related hardware and software.
- Asset Management: Manage new user request processes, including configuration, setup, inventory, and testing of new user computers prior to delivery.
- Warranty and Repair Management: Open service requests and manage warranty repairs with hardware vendors.
- IT Asset Disposal: Retire old IT assets, including record keeping and appropriate asset disposal.
- Equipment Verification: Follow-up on equipment delivered to other sites to ensure it was received and set up properly.
- Server Patching: Perform monthly server patching to ensure system security and stability.
- Purchase Requesting: Process purchase requests for IT-related equipment and software.
- Intranet Maintenance: Maintain and update our company's intranet, including content and functionality.
- AODocs Library Management: Create and maintain AODocs libraries to ensure efficient document management.
- Vendor Communication: Communicate with vendors to resolve licensed software issues.
- Project Support: Assist with the planning and implementation of IT projects across multiple sites.
- IT Point of Contact: Serve as the primary IT point of contact for a critical manufacturing site.
- Technical Knowledge: Possess knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, and network fundamentals.
- Operating System Expertise: Have a strong understanding of Windows operating systems, specifically Windows 7 and Windows 10.
- Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and support skills.
- Physical Demands: Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in manufacturing facilities wearing protective clothing.
- Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
- Certifications: Possess relevant certifications, such as CompTIA A+ or Cisco CCNA.
- Shift: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.
