Job Responsibilities:
Join our dedicated team at Wisconsin Community Services, Inc., where we operate a specialized pharmacy focused on supporting our outpatient mental health clinic.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong teamwork skills while also being capable of independent work. Adaptability to multi-tasking and managing interruptions is essential, along with a positive attitude.

While a Pharmacy Technician license is preferred, it is not mandatory.

Position Overview:
Your primary responsibilities will include processing prescriptions and preparing compliance packaging. You will also perform various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of pharmacy services, including delivering medications to external locations as required throughout the week.

Key Responsibilities:
- Process prescriptions and prepare compliance packaging (bubble packs).
- Assist staff and clients visiting the pharmacy.
- Deliver medications to designated locations as needed.
- Regularly check and respond to emails.
- Handle incoming phone inquiries.
- Manage the return of medications to stock.
- Conduct routine checks for expired medications.
- Complete all daily and weekly tasks essential for pharmacy operations.
- Support the Medication Coordinating Pharmacy Technician with their responsibilities as needed.

Additional Duties:
- Provide assistance with other technicians' responsibilities when possible.

Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Previous experience as a pharmacy technician is necessary. Pharmacy technician certification (CPhT) is preferred.

Performance Expectations:
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and thrive in a busy, demanding environment.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Familiarity with Medicaid/Medicare and compliance requirements is beneficial.
- Willingness to learn and effectively utilize pharmacy software, specifically Speed Script.
- Understanding of pharmacy policies and procedures, with the ability to adapt to new protocols as they are introduced.
- Strong problem-solving skills are essential.

Work Environment:

As part of our team, you will work closely with pharmacy staff and other colleagues, all striving towards the common goal of supporting consumers during challenging times.


Physical Requirements:
