In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and supervising all operational support divisions within the pharmacy. Your leadership will ensure the development and execution of efficient operational strategies and cost-effective systems to address both current and future demands of the pharmacy.
• Collaborate with executive leadership and various departments to establish and achieve organizational objectives while providing expertise and guidance on initiatives and systems.
• Identify, recommend, and implement innovative processes, technologies, and systems to enhance and streamline organizational workflows and resource utilization within the central services divisions.
• Review, analyze, and approve financial statements, departmental budgets, cost-control reports, and staffing requirements to ensure alignment with operational and financial targets.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of emerging technologies and trends in pharmacy operations, ensuring operational adoption of new technologies in line with strategic plans.
• Participate in the formulation and administration of company policies and the development, implementation, and communication of strategic plans, long-term goals, and objectives.
Minimum Qualifications:
• 5-10 years of experience in the pharmacy or related healthcare sector.
• Bachelor's Degree required; advanced degree from an accredited healthcare institution preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of pharmacy pricing and reimbursement processes, along with extensive understanding of industry principles, procedures, and best practices.
