Position Overview:
As a key leader within Cardinal Health, the Community Pharmacy Director will oversee the operations of a 340B community pharmacy situated within a partner health center. This role is essential in ensuring that our pharmacists provide critical medication and pharmaceutical care to underserved populations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with administrative and medical leadership at partner Community Health Centers to establish pharmacist-led clinical and dispensing services.
  • Develop and execute collaborative practice agreements aimed at enhancing medication adherence for high-risk patients while improving provider satisfaction.
  • Implement best practices to ensure compliance with 340B regulations and maintain adequate staffing levels to meet pharmacy needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of all prescription medications received and dispensed, ensuring adherence to established policies for dispensing and labeling.
  • Safeguard the prescription area, restricting access to unauthorized individuals and reporting any incidents of theft or diversion of controlled substances.
  • Supervise pharmacy interns and externs, ensuring professional consultations are conducted by licensed pharmacists.
  • Oversee the Continuous Quality Improvement Plan to reduce medication errors and enhance patient safety.
  • Ensure that no misbranded, outdated, or improperly stored medications are present in the pharmacy.
  • Maintain a clean and organized prescription area, operating in accordance with pharmacy laws.
  • Ensure compliance with all Federal and State pharmacy regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in pharmacy required; PharmD preferred.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of pharmacy management experience, with 4-5 years of overall pharmacy experience.
  • Active Wisconsin Pharmacist license in good standing.
  • Immunization Certification or willingness to obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in multitasking and time management.
  • Experience with 340B programs is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $108,300 - $162,395, with eligibility for bonuses. Cardinal Health offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
