Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned leader to spearhead the operational and strategic growth of Temple Beth Zion-Beth Israel, a vibrant congregation in Center City Philadelphia. The successful candidate will lead a team of dedicated staff and volunteers to achieve our goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage business operations, finance, member engagement, development, facility management, human resources, special projects, and support functions.
  • Sustain close relationships with clergy and the Board of Directors to ensure alignment with our strategic plan.
  • Oversee human resources, including annual performance plans and staff reviews.
  • Maintain a professional presence at BZBI functions, cultivate relationships with congregants, and address concerns in a timely manner.
  • Supervise office, custodial, and security staff.
  • Identify new opportunities for giving, including special projects, campaigns, and grants.
Requirements

The ideal candidate has a minimum of seven years of senior management experience, sound business acumen, and expertise in finance, development, human resources, administration, facilities management, and technology.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $100K- $125K, paid holidays, sick leave, health insurance, FSA, and retirement plans.
