Job Overview

VSolvit is in search of a Senior SharePoint Solutions Architect to provide expert support for our clients.

We deliver dependable Engineering and Analytical support services, specializing in Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM platforms, facilitating a range of mission-critical applications, collaborative efforts, business intelligence, and workflow solutions.

Our dedicated team manages, maintains, and enhances multiple SharePoint and CRM environments.

We assess and optimize existing content and customizations within the SharePoint production farms, aiming for seamless migration to advanced environments.


Role Responsibilities

As a Senior SharePoint Solutions Architect, you will leverage state-of-the-art SharePoint technologies to provide optimal solutions for our clients, troubleshoot issues, configure systems, perform upgrades, and implement necessary changes to ensure the integrity of the SharePoint/CRM environments. An Interim Secret Clearance is a prerequisite for this role. This position operates in a Hybrid model (with some on-site requirements).

Additional expectations include adherence to standard working hours, meeting project deadlines, compliance with company policies, regular communication with supervisors, and maintaining focus on assigned tasks.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver tier 3 and tier 4 technical support for on-premise SharePoint & CRM environments.
- Provide on-call support for critical incidents and outages outside of standard work hours as required.
- Troubleshoot, manage, and configure IIS and SharePoint infrastructure.
- Support troubleshooting efforts for systems including OS, SQL, networking, and firewall components to ensure a fully operational SharePoint/CRM farm.
- Collaborate with service partners to support ATOs and update necessary documentation.
- Ensure security compliance of all servers through regular patching and applying STIGs as needed.
- Work closely with the SharePoint Architect to ensure infrastructure designs meet security requirements.
- Remediate identified vulnerabilities in SharePoint and Dynamics CRM.
- Install, configure, and maintain on-premise SharePoint and CRM environments.
- Support upgrades and migrations for SharePoint & CRM.
- Implement governance strategies in coordination with the Governance Manager.
- Contribute to Weekly and Monthly Reports.
- Engage with the F5 team to configure load balancers for high availability.
- Manage Change Requests, Incidents & Work Orders as necessary.
- Participate in Change Board meetings as required.
- Resolve Incident & Work Order tickets related to SharePoint/CRM infrastructure.
- Maintain and review internal Engineering assets and documentation.
- Monitor and enhance SharePoint and CRM databases following best practices.
- Collaborate with development teams to deploy solutions to on-prem SharePoint/CRM farms.
- Lead and supervise the engineering team.

Basic Qualifications

- Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to work independently and solve complex problems.
- Over 5 years of experience in infrastructure/system engineering.
- Proficiency with SharePoint 2013 & 2019.
- Familiarity with SharePoint Online and CRM systems.
- Experience with CRM/Platform/Server Migration.
- Ability to translate business requirements into system functionality within the CRM/Platform and SharePoint framework.
- General knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, group policy, LAN/WAN, IP addresses, and SQL server administration.
- Proven troubleshooting experience with SharePoint or related technologies.
- Security+ or equivalent certification.
- Interim Secret Clearance is required.
- Relevant Microsoft or FedVTE certifications.
- Supervisory or lead experience is essential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in IT or Engineering.
- Experience with Migration Tools such as AvePoint DocAve.
- Familiarity with O365 services and migrations.
- Microsoft certifications, particularly MCSE.
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk).
- Background in disaster recovery efforts for IT.
- Cyber Security Technical Engineering Support to SharePoint.
- Understanding of DoD mission and business practices.
