About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and accomplished Director of Business Development and Growth to collaborate with program and technical personnel in the successful capture of new business opportunities in the DoD and adjacent marketplaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate efforts across the company to identify, shape, qualify, and capture opportunities focused on the US Army and US Marine Corps.
  • Develop competitive intelligence, perform gap analyses, and develop teaming strategies.
  • Develop value propositions, win strategies, business case presentations, and contribute to proposal development.
  • Build, develop, and foster relationships with agency decision-makers, stakeholders, industry partners, consultants, and influencers.
  • Engage in industry events and serve as liaison for memberships and event participation.
  • Prepare and execute approved engagement strategy, conduct market research, and provide capture strategy guidance.
  • Coordinate priorities and resources between multiple opportunities, align consultants and teaming partners, and prepare and update Patricio Enterprises database for all tracked opportunities.
Requirements
  • Current Secret clearance desired.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or engineering (preferred) or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of well-rounded experience conducting business development activities.
  • Demonstrated success and proven ability to win contract awards.
  • Advanced knowledge of business development standards and best practices.
  • Comfortable using SharePoint, GovWinIQ, and standard business development tools.
  • Knowledge of the Defense acquisition processes, procedures, and regulations.
  • In-depth knowledge of the competitive landscape and existing contracts within the US Army PEOs and Marine Corps Systems Command.
  • Experience interacting with and briefing government and industry leaders.
  • Ability to excel in a team environment and inspire a highly dedicated and talented group of professionals.
  • Strong leadership, diplomatic, and motivational skills.
Work Environment

This is a normal working office environment with some telework days authorized during the week.

Travel Requirements

Up to 50%.
