Position Overview:

The Senior Financial Analyst for IP Management will play a crucial role in supporting the Global Real Estate division by overseeing budget forecasting, project oversight, and strategic initiatives. This position will be instrumental in managing the firm’s capital expenditure and depreciation planning, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain strong business relationships with senior leaders in Real Estate, Finance, and Government Compliance.
  • Act as a primary resource for financial analysis, addressing issues and objectives related to special programs.
  • Ensure adherence to government cost accounting standards and effective cost pool management.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management, focusing on financial performance and strategic planning.
  • Lead the financial monitoring and reporting processes for the Capital Expenditure (Capex) Program and Global Workplace Real Estate Group.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to identify financial risks and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations.
  • Guide an Associate in the development of operational budgets and performance tracking throughout the fiscal year.
  • Manage the development of firmwide Capex and Depreciation & Amortization (D&A) plans, ensuring effective project management through all stages.
  • Champion financial best practices and drive improvements in processes and technology for enhanced financial oversight.
  • Collaborate with Accounting, Financial Systems, and Compliance teams as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in financial analysis, including budget management and reporting for senior management.
  • At least 4 years of experience in developing and enhancing financial reports for executive-level stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Excel, with the ability to create complex financial models and reports.
  • Experience with enterprise planning and reporting tools, such as Hyperion or Workday.
  • Strong analytical and collaborative skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in financial analysis within the government contracting sector.
  • Familiarity with federal cost accounting standards.
  • Knowledge of accounting practices related to facilities and capital expenditure portfolios.
