Senior Federal Financial Management Analyst / Auditing Support


ERIMAX Inc. is seeking a dedicated professional to support a critical mission in the education and preparation of health professionals within the uniformed services. This role is pivotal in ensuring the effective management of financial resources that align with the National Security and Defense Strategies of the United States.

The client’s workforce is responsible for the preparation, execution, and oversight of the Agency's resource portfolio. This includes the development of comprehensive analyses of ongoing initiatives, anticipated operational changes, and mission adjustments, which are essential for establishing long-term budgets as part of the Program Objective Memorandums and Budget Estimate Submissions to the Defense Health Agency (DHA).

  • Accounts Payable Division
  • Agreements Division
  • Budget Division
  • Financial Services Division
  • Resource Management Information Division
  • Quality Assurance Division

As a Senior Financial Management Analyst, you will provide high-level financial management expertise, focusing on:

  • Comprehensive audit support for the FMG Directorate and the Assistant Vice President of Resource Management.
  • Assisting with the management of Provided-by-Client (PBC) packages for financial audits.
  • Delivering accurate financial information to meet audit requirements mandated by Congress.
  • Coordinating responses to audit requests and managing Notices of Findings and Recommendations (NFRs).
  • Standardizing business processes and internal controls to support rigorous financial audits.
  • Reviewing Independent Public Accountant (IPA) samples and collaborating with departments for responses.
  • Developing Customer User Entity Controls (CUEC) related to various standards.
  • Conducting internal controls reviews for Government Purchase Cards.
  • Analyzing audit findings to propose corrective actions for business processes and financial management.
  • Implementing corrective action plans for audit findings and preparing follow-up presentations.
  • Providing support and guidance on audit and compliance issues.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in DoD Government auditing.
  • Experience in preparing audit responses for senior management and Independent Public Accountants.
  • Proficiency in creating Provided By Client (PBC) and sample document packages.
  • Experience in developing and testing Corrective Action Plans (CAPs).
  • A Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Management, Public Administration, or Communication.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including SharePoint and Google Suite.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Capability to manage and maintain program documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

It is preferred that candidates have:

  • Certification as a Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) and/or Certified Government Financial Management (CGFM).
