Vice President of Benefits Strategy and Analytics

This newly established position is a key part of the Spend and Benefits ECM Analytics team within the broader US Personal Banking Analytics organization.

The Business Analytics Lead will be instrumental in fostering business expansion by spearheading strategic analytics for the identification and development of new benefits, as well as enhancing the adoption of Personal Financial Management (PFM) benefits, which encompass FICO and ID Theft monitoring.

The selected candidate will formulate analytically driven strategies and recommendations aimed at boosting customer engagement and loyalty by refining digital funnel conversion and enrollment processes. Additionally, they will collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Finance teams to create forward-looking forecasts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Benefits Product team to devise benefit strategies and innovative products that enhance customer engagement, unlocking future growth and revenue opportunities.
  • Develop and communicate an analytical framework to address business objectives by uncovering actionable insights through advanced customer behavior analysis.
  • Increase product enrollment by minimizing friction in the digital journey and addressing customer pain points.
  • Establish a digital testing program to refine and assess the performance of upcoming benefits and the PFM benefits program.
  • Utilize statistical methods and segmentation to create targeting strategies and optimization frameworks that maximize ROI.
  • Extract data and perform industry-leading analytics using various analytical tools, software, and techniques.
  • Articulate P&L impacts through financial analyses, forecasting, and tracking of program KPIs.
  • Oversee end-to-end project management for strategy development, consensus building with functional and senior stakeholders, and implementation of recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with audit and control requirements.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field is required (e.g., Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research). A graduate degree is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in a quantitative field, consulting, or the financial/credit card industry is preferred.
  • Proven ability to translate business inquiries into analytical frameworks that yield meaningful insights.
  • Experience in driving web strategies, A/B testing, and utilizing Adobe Analytics is essential.
  • Strong understanding of the consumer lending market, customer lifecycle, and P&L management.
  • Exceptional analytical, technical, and statistical skills with a demonstrated ability to interpret large datasets using SAS, SQL, or Python/R.
  • A deep passion and curiosity for driving business outcomes.
  • Skilled in building relationships and collaborating with individuals across all levels and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Effective organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range: $125,000 - $188,640.00
