Job Overview

Reports To: General Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional assistance to guests and residents, ensuring their needs are met in a professional and timely manner. Effectively communicate guest feedback and requirements to relevant departments. Recognize the significance of delivering top-notch service standards to all guests.

Physical Demands:

Must be capable of standing for extended periods.

Primary Duties:

  • Execute daily tasks and follow checklists to guarantee smooth front desk operations.
  • Oversee front desk activities during assigned morning, evening, and overnight shifts.
  • Respond to guest and resident requests appropriately.
  • Address complaints positively and constructively.
  • Know when to escalate guest and resident concerns to the Manager on duty.
  • Make decisions that are advantageous for the hotel, residence, and its patrons.
  • Understand and apply hotel policies and procedures regarding reservations, check-ins, check-outs, concierge services, and other guest interactions.
  • Comprehend the operations of the hotel and its various departments.
  • Work effectively with diverse individuals.
  • Exhibit friendliness and courtesy towards guests, residents, and colleagues.
  • Possess a pleasant speaking voice.
  • Maintain a flexible schedule, recognizing the importance of being present as required in a 24-hour operation.
  • Anticipate the needs of guests and residents.
  • Facilitate hotel reservations and note special requests.
  • Handle incoming calls and assist guests accordingly.
  • Provide accurate information regarding hotel facilities.
  • Perform assigned concierge duties.
  • Ensure proper communication of details during shift changes.
  • Monitor hotel room key inventory and ensure all keys are returned at check-out.
  • Maintain all front desk logs for record-keeping purposes.
  • Keep the front desk area clean and organized.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Able to work morning, evening, and overnight shifts as required.
  • Ability to multitask and learn quickly.
  • Flexible and adaptable.
  • Detail-oriented.

Job Type: Part-time

Compensation: Starting at $16.00 per hour

Work Schedule:

  • 8-hour shifts
  • Day shifts
  • Evening shifts
  • Holidays
  • On-call shifts
  • Weekends as needed

Work Environment:
