Position Overview:

Since its inception, The GEO Group, Inc. has been committed to providing essential services in the field of immigration supervision. Our Intensive Supervision Appearance Program (ISAP) is a vital component of our operations, ensuring effective management of individuals involved in immigration proceedings. We achieve successful outcomes through a combination of thorough case management and advanced supervision technology, supported by a network of community partners to assist participants with their essential needs.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in a similar role, with a preference for experience in multicultural environments
  • Ability to pass a federal background check and obtain a suitability determination
  • U.S. citizenship is required
  • Residency in the U.S. for three (3) of the last five (5) years (military and study abroad accepted)
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage tactfully with the public
  • Sound judgment and the ability to maintain composure in stressful situations
  • Ability to work sensitively with diverse cultural contacts
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to utilize standard office software and equipment

Working Conditions:

  • Typical office environment

  • Ability to perform data entry tasks

Responsibilities:

Summary:
Provide administrative and clerical support within the ISAP office.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet and communicate with program participants, community visitors, agency personnel, and general visitors
  • Ensure proper check-in procedures for program participants during office visits
  • Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately
  • Maintain participant case records through data entry
  • Organize and manage files and related documentation
  • Assist the Program Manager and Case Specialists with case coordination and clerical tasks
  • Coordinate transportation services for program participants
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
