Administrative Reception Specialist

Aston Carter is in search of a dedicated Receptionist for a full-time role.
Position Overview
We are looking for a meticulous and well-organized Receptionist & Mailroom Coordinator. In this position, you will be responsible for managing the front desk reception area while ensuring the smooth and secure operation of our mailroom activities, distribution of office supplies, and serving as a backup receptionist to maintain front desk coverage. Your role will involve welcoming guests and providing phone support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the front desk and receptionist as needed.
- Manage the filing of requisition forms for office supplies.
- Offer general administrative assistance to the Human Resources Manager.
- Oversee the processing of all outgoing and incoming mail and packages.
- Track outgoing shipments and communicate with carriers regarding lost or delayed mail.
- Coordinate shipping of pallets with carriers.
- Receive deliveries from freight services and unpack items.
- Distribute incoming mail to the relevant departments.
- Organize office supplies and collaborate with the Purchasing Department for replenishment.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Required Skills:
- Professional demeanor
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Outlook
- Ability to handle challenging situations with composure
- Strong communication skills
- Demonstrated reliability in previous roles
Work Environment:
This position is fully on-site.
