Department Summary:
Job Responsibilities:
The role involves conducting inventory evaluations to ensure sufficient supply levels and equipment availability. The position also supports Material Management in fostering effective relationships with various departments to enhance customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include:

  • Understanding the department's crucial role in patient care support
  • Engaging with departments regarding supply issues and assisting with inquiries
  • Maintaining a safe and organized supply area
  • Verifying the quantity and specifications of received or dispatched supplies
  • Stocking and distributing supplies based on requisitions
  • Implementing FIFO (First In, First Out) for stock rotation
  • Labeling and organizing supplies in designated inventory locations
  • Initiating follow-up procedures to prevent stock shortages
  • Participating in scheduled physical inventory counts
  • Assisting with special projects as needed

Qualifications:
Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Skills:
Proficiency in computer systems and related technology is advantageous.

Experience:
Prior experience in materials management processes is preferred.
