Department Overview:
Job Summary:
The role involves conducting inventory evaluations to ensure sufficient supply levels and equipment availability. The technician will support Material Management in fostering relationships between various departments and ensuring optimal customer satisfaction. Adherence to instructions and collaboration with Material Management leadership is essential. Professional demeanor and effective communication are expected at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand the department's vital role in patient care support.
  • Engage with departments regarding supply issues and assist with inquiries.
  • Maintain supply areas in a safe and organized manner.
  • Verify the accuracy of received and delivered supplies.
  • Conduct inventory, stocking, and dispensing of supplies as per requisitions.
  • Implement FIFO techniques for stock rotation.
  • Label and organize supplies in designated inventory locations.
  • Initiate follow-up procedures to address stock shortages.
  • Participate in scheduled physical inventory counts.
  • Assist with special projects as needed.

Qualifications:
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Skills:
Familiarity with computer systems and related equipment is advantageous.

Experience:
Prior experience in materials management processes is preferred.
