About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Operations Manager to join our team at Heritage Hill Property Management. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our properties, ensuring that they are safe, comfortable, and well-maintained for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead and inspire a team of maintenance professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure that they have the resources and expertise needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Maintenance Operations: Oversee the daily maintenance operations, including repairs, preventive maintenance, and grounds maintenance, to ensure that our properties are well-maintained and meet our high standards.
  • Facilities Management: Develop and implement facilities management plans to ensure that our properties are safe, secure, and well-maintained, and that our residents have a positive living experience.
  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Manage budgets and costs associated with maintenance operations, ensuring that we are spending wisely and efficiently.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to emergency situations, such as equipment failures or natural disasters, to ensure that our properties are safe and secure.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary materials and equipment to perform maintenance tasks effectively.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in maintenance operations, facilities management, or a related field.
  • Leadership and Teamwork: Proven leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of maintenance professionals.
  • Technical Skills: Strong technical skills, including knowledge of building systems, such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions quickly and effectively in emergency situations.
  • Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and vendors.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent, with a Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
