A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PROPERTY MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST

As a Property Maintenance Specialist, your primary responsibility is to ensure that our residents enjoy safe and comfortable living spaces that are well-maintained. You will address any maintenance concerns promptly and perform necessary repairs. When a unit becomes vacant, you will work diligently to prepare it for the next resident within five days.

In this role, you will assist the property manager with inspections and participate in an on-call emergency rotation for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Your friendly demeanor and responsiveness will help foster positive interactions with residents. You will take pride in maintaining the cleanliness and curb appeal of the community, ensuring that each day brings a mix of routine tasks and unexpected challenges.


QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PROPERTY MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST

  • Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience
  • Proficient in painting and unit turnover
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and general maintenance
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

WORK SCHEDULE

This full-time position typically operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with participation in an on-call rotation required (premium pay for on-call duties).
