Key Responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled Manufacturing Director to oversee our vitamin and supplement production processes. This role will involve comprehensive management of our cGMP-compliant manufacturing environment, focusing on various production methods including blending, encapsulation, bottling, and labeling. You will ensure optimal use of our facilities and workforce.

Essential Duties Include:

  • Developing and implementing manufacturing policies that enhance competitive positioning and profitability.
  • Managing the manufacturing plan and establishing procedures to uphold high operational standards.
  • Recommending strategic enhancements to manufacturing and operational strategies.
  • Leading and mentoring team members to foster a motivated and accountable work environment.
  • Structuring departmental teams for maximum efficiency.
  • Creating dashboards and KPIs to drive performance metrics.
  • Reporting production progress to executive leadership as needed.
  • Ensuring safety training for all employees and developing programs to minimize workplace accidents.
  • Maintaining product quality and maximizing production efficiency.
  • Staying informed on industry trends and compliance requirements.
  • Promoting continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.
  • Ensuring availability of operational supplies at all times.
  • Adhering to federal, state, and local regulations regarding plant operations.
  • Demonstrating versatility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
  • Exercising sound judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Monitoring team activities and addressing any issues proactively.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 7 years in a management role, with at least 3 years as a director.
  • Proven expertise in the manufacturing processes of dietary supplements.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical or nutraceutical industries is essential.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with ERP software.
  • Ability to analyze data and manage manufacturing standards effectively.
  • Capability to manage multiple priorities and tasks efficiently.

Work Environment
