Area Director, Business Development Lead

As a seasoned sales leader, you will be responsible for driving business growth and implementing sales and marketing strategies to achieve objectives for multiple ScionHealth Specialty Hospitals. You will align market strategies with regional goals, utilize market intelligence and data to create effective market plans, and provide leadership and support to a team of clinical liaisons to meet business objectives.

- Provide leadership and support to a team of clinical liaisons to meet business objectives
- Identify, grow, and maintain relationships with executive referral sources and key accounts
- Conduct regular meetings and presentations with key accounts and referral sources
- Collaborate with hospital teams to coordinate referrals and admissions
- Use data and metrics to assess performance and hold team members accountable
- Develop and lead the development of strategic marketing plans for each clinical liaison
- Conduct morning conversion calls to align with operations and clinical leadership
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (strongly preferred)
- 8+ years of sales leadership experience in a related field (may be considered)
- Valid driver's license required
- Clinical licensure (RN, LPN/LVN, RT) preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare/post-acute marketing, sales, and business development (with LTACH experience strongly preferred)
- Management and leadership experience over a sales team preferred
- Formal sales training preferred
- Demonstrated understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and other payers as related to LTACH benefits
- Demonstrated competence in strategic business planning and design of marketing initiatives
- Proven record of success
$98,000 - $135,000 plus monthly bonus
