Job Summary

Salem Media Group is seeking a highly motivated sales professional to join our team as a Media Strategist / Account Executive. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling and managing our multi-media marketing solutions to local small and medium-sized businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect for local and regional businesses, reaching decision makers and setting meetings to analyze client needs and create compelling advertising presentations.
  • Research and stay current on local digital marketing trends and opportunities.
  • Create and present strategic marketing proposals for key accounts and new business decision makers.
  • Accurately project revenues and meet/exceed monthly budgets for all product lines.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales goals in on-air and online media.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of digital products and their positioning in the marketplace.
  • Ability to understand categories of businesses to prospect in and develop in-depth needs analysis to uncover client needs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present multi-varied solutions to groups of people.
  • Proven track record of developing business marketing strategies for local and regional clients.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of clients.
