Your Role:
In this position, you will be responsible for:

  • Executing various monthly and quarterly revenue closing activities, which include posting revenue and contra revenue journal entries and reconciling balance sheet accounts.
  • Generating precise and timely monthly and quarterly revenue reports, ensuring reconciliation between reporting tools and the general ledger, and preparing management reporting packages.
  • Conducting disaggregated revenue analyses to support SEC filings and assisting the Legal team with revenue reporting data.
  • Updating historical Point of Sale (POS) and Special Pricing Authorization (SPA) rates, sell-through, and channel inventory data to create monthly future rate tables that assist Business Unit Finance in determining final future rates.
  • Leading discussions on future rate tables and gross margin analytics with Business Unit VPs, Finance teams, Revenue Controllers, and the Revenue team.
  • Performing analytical reporting to assess variances and the influence of business activities on revenue.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including IT, Sales Operations, and Business Unit Finance, to enhance the quality of revenue data and streamline revenue reporting processes.
  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining effective accounting processes, policies, and internal controls while evaluating and recommending best practices for process improvements.
  • Coordinating audit requests to support both internal management and external audits, ensuring all assigned revenue deliverables are completed accurately.
  • Leading or assisting with ad-hoc projects as necessary and driving them to successful completion.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 6 years of combined experience in Big 4 audit and corporate revenue accounting within the technology sector.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Strong communication and data analytical capabilities.
  • Experience with SAP and Oracle Cloud.
  • Proficiency in OBIEE and Power Business Intelligence.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
