Your Role:
As a vital member of the Global Technology & Commercial Legal Services Team, you will deliver exceptional commercial contract and administrative support to Western Digital, particularly within our Procurement and Sales divisions. This role involves negotiating and managing commercial agreements while collaborating with various internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize a diverse range of commercial contracts, including non-disclosure agreements, sales contracts, marketing agreements, distribution contracts, professional services agreements, purchase agreements, engagement letters, statements of work, amendments, and other legal documents.
  • Identify and advise internal clients on potential risks associated with transactions, proposing practical and strategic risk mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with commercial contracts attorneys and various teams within the Legal Department.
  • Support all aspects of the contract management process, including post-award administration and the effective use of Western Digital's internal contract management tools.
  • Provide project management, administrative, and operational support as needed.
  • Engage in special projects as required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant transactional experience in an in-house legal department, focusing on drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements and contract administration.
  • Proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong capability to identify objectives, communicate effectively, and assess risks while proposing actionable strategies to internal business clients.
  • Preferred experience in the technology sector or with technology companies.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
  • Proficient in managing and prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality results in various contract matters.
  • Familiarity with contract management lifecycle (CLM) solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) is preferred.
