Individual contributions account for more than half of WCK's yearly funding, and the Director of Individual Donor Relations will focus on major gifts, recurring donations, and mid-tier contributions. This position will report directly to the Chief Development Officer and will be responsible for managing a team of fundraising professionals while also overseeing a personal portfolio of donors. This includes the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of contributions ranging from $25,000 to over $1 million. The ideal candidate will excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and exhibit proactive leadership with an entrepreneurial approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage, and enhance a portfolio of individual donors, focusing on major gifts, legacy contributions, and family foundations to support WCK's mission.
  • Implement data-driven revenue strategies to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donations, while fostering deeper connections through authentic engagement.
  • Ensure that monthly cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship goals are met, along with maintaining accurate engagement records in Salesforce.
  • Collaborate closely with the Donor Operations team to generate comparative reports that track fundraising performance over time.
  • Oversee key projects, campaigns, and strategies, providing input and leadership as necessary.
  • Supervise and mentor a team, guiding them in best practices for donor engagement and year-round relationship management.
  • Represent WCK at speaking engagements, conferences, and other relevant opportunities.

Additional Responsibilities:
