Role Overview

As the inaugural Sales Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth within our Enterprise customer segment. You will oversee the complete sales cycle for Enterprise accounts, from generating leads and prospecting to closing deals and facilitating a seamless transition post-sale.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation and Prospecting

  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities, ensuring a steady flow of potential customers at various stages of the sales process.
  • Identify and qualify leads through various methods, including inbound inquiries, free trials, and engagement with active users.
  • Proactively connect with prospects through outbound sales initiatives, including cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, and networking events.

Sales Strategy and Execution

  • Work collaboratively with product, marketing, and customer success teams to create and implement sales strategies aligned with our product-led growth model.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and report on performance metrics using our CRM system.
  • Develop and maintain sales materials and content.
  • Continuously evaluate and refine sales techniques based on performance data.
  • Employ consultative selling methods to understand and address prospects' challenges with tailored solutions.
  • Coordinate with customer success teams to ensure a smooth transition from new business sales to renewals.

Closing Sales

  • Lead negotiations with prospects, effectively addressing objections and closing deals efficiently.
  • Oversee contract negotiations, invoicing, and the subscription setup process.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work autonomously and take initiative in a dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in BDR/SDR roles with a minimum of 2 years as an Account Executive.
  • Proven success in both outbound and inbound sales efforts.
  • Strong understanding of the SaaS sales cycle and product-led growth strategies.
  • Demonstrated resilience, curiosity, and a strong desire to learn.
  • Familiarity with various sales methodologies and techniques.
  • Ability to adapt to diverse customer segments and situations.
