About the Opportunity:

The successful Territory Sales Account Executive will effectively promote group and charter services through both inside and outside sales strategies to meet regional sales objectives.
About You:
The ideal candidate will be flexible, energetic, and embody the principles of City Experiences' RESPECT Service System.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve or surpass the annual personal sales targets established by the Regional Director of Sales and Vice President of Sales.
- Develop a thorough understanding of customer needs and market dynamics.
- Implement the sales strategy utilizing effective sales methodologies.
- Generate leads primarily through telemarketing and networking with existing clients, while also participating in trade shows and industry events.
- Convert prospects into clients by conducting effective sales calls to both new and existing customers.
- Identify customer requirements and leverage in-depth product knowledge to craft compelling proposals, ensuring a balance between company and customer interests.
- Present proposals convincingly via phone and during in-person meetings.
- Successfully upsell existing clients to higher-value offerings.
- Address customer objections and resolve issues efficiently.
- Establish relationships with associations and business organizations to generate referrals.
- Ensure timely responses to customer inquiries.
- Communicate comprehensive and accurate product information to the operations team for seamless execution.
- Follow up with customers post-cruise to enhance account relationships and discuss future opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Director of Sales to address any customer concerns.
- Utilize Salesforce (CRM software) to strategically manage activities within assigned markets and track sales productivity.
- Employ ANCHOR (reservation software) for accurate order bookings.
- Maintain effective personal organization, manage time efficiently, prioritize tasks appropriately, and keep accurate records.
- Work with the Sales Assistant to manage payments and maintain accounts receivable within established guidelines.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Event sales experience is essential.
- A minimum of 2 years of total sales experience, including at least 1 year of outbound telephone sales experience.
- A bachelor's degree is preferred, ideally in a field related to the role.
- Hospitality experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software is required.
- Strong analytical skills to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities.
- Sales primarily conducted via telephone; excellent verbal communication skills are necessary.
- Proposal writing skills are required; effective written communication is essential.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships as dictated by job responsibilities.
- Proven ability to persuade and influence others.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Strong listening skills to assess situations, identify relevant issues, and propose solutions.
