Role Overview

As the inaugural Sales Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in fostering new revenue growth within our Enterprise customer segment. You will oversee the complete sales cycle for Enterprise accounts, from generating leads and prospecting to closing sales and ensuring a seamless transition post-sale.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation and Prospecting

  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities, ensuring a diverse range of potential customers at different stages of the buying journey.
  • Identify and qualify leads through various strategies, including inbound inquiries and engagement with active users.
  • Proactively connect with prospects through outbound sales efforts, such as cold calling, email outreach, and networking.

Sales Strategy and Execution

  • Work collaboratively with product, marketing, and customer success teams to create and implement effective sales strategies tailored to our product-led growth model.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and report on performance metrics using our CRM system.
  • Develop and maintain sales materials and content.
  • Continuously evaluate and refine sales techniques based on performance analysis.
  • Utilize consultative selling methods to understand and address prospects' challenges with tailored solutions.
  • Coordinate with customer success teams to ensure a smooth transition from new business sales to renewals.

Closing Sales

  • Lead negotiations with prospects, effectively addressing objections and closing deals.
  • Manage the contract negotiation process, including invoicing and subscription setup.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to work independently and take initiative in a dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in BDR/SDR roles, with a minimum of 2 years as an Account Executive.
  • Strong track record in both outbound and inbound sales.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the SaaS sales cycle and product-led growth strategies.
  • Possess grit, curiosity, and a strong desire to learn and succeed.
  • Familiarity with various sales methodologies and techniques.
  • Ability to adapt to diverse customer segments and situations.
