Airport Customer Support Specialist

Core Responsibilities:
The Customer Service Agent plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to travelers, the general public, and staff within the airport's Concourse E and F. This position involves assisting and guiding passengers as they navigate through both International and Domestic Terminals.
Key Duties Include:
- Offering vital airport and passenger information to ensure smooth transitions through Security Checkpoints.
- Providing assistance to travelers at various points throughout Concourses E and F.
- Supporting incoming international travelers with the Automated Passport Control Kiosk.
- Upholding a positive public relations image while delivering accurate, timely, and complete information, as well as escorting passengers needing additional support.
- Establishing a reliable communication system that serves the public, airline partners, and Customs and Border Protection officials.
- Delivering information and assistance to both employees and passengers as necessary.
- Performing other related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Possession of the necessary knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience to effectively perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Proficiency in both verbal and written communication.
- Capability to foster and maintain positive working relationships with fellow employees, airline staff, and Customs and Border Protection officials.
Physical Requirements:
This role requires prolonged periods of walking and standing throughout daily operations, ensuring that pedestrian traffic remains smooth and unobstructed.
Mental Requirements:
The position entails sensitive interactions with passengers, airline personnel, and Customs and Border Protection officials, necessitating a strong sense of responsibility to provide accurate information. The dynamic nature of operations may lead to urgent situations requiring immediate resolution. This role involves significant public exposure and demands a professional demeanor and approach at all times, along with a genuine willingness to assist individuals with diverse requests and needs.
