Key Responsibilities:

The Customer Service Agent plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to travelers, the general public, and fellow employees within the airport's Concourse E and F. This position involves assisting passengers as they navigate through both International and Domestic Terminals.

Core Duties Include:

  • Providing essential airport and passenger information to ensure smooth passage through Security Checkpoints.
  • Offering assistance to travelers at various points throughout Concourses E and F.
  • Guiding incoming international passengers in utilizing the Automated Passport Control Kiosk.
  • Upholding a positive public relations image by delivering accurate, timely, and complete information, as well as escorting passengers who require additional support.
  • Establishing a reliable communication network to serve the public, airline personnel, and Customs and Border Protection officers.
  • Offering information and assistance to both employees and passengers as needed.
  • Performing other assigned duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience necessary to fulfill the essential functions of the role, with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Proficiency in effective verbal and written communication.
  • Able to foster and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, airline staff, and Customs and Border Protection officers.

Physical Requirements:

This role necessitates prolonged periods of walking and standing throughout daily activities, ensuring that pedestrian traffic flows smoothly and remains unobstructed.

Mental Requirements:

The position involves handling sensitive interactions with passengers, airline personnel, and Customs and Border Protection officers, requiring a strong sense of responsibility to provide accurate information. The dynamic nature of operations may demand immediate attention to various situations, and the role entails significant public exposure, necessitating a professional demeanor at all times. A genuine willingness to assist individuals with diverse requests and needs is essential.
