Job Summary:

The Airport Operations Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the general operations of the airport's facilities and equipment. This includes performing a variety of duties as dictated by operational requirements, including airline operations, ground transportation, airport security, tenant/public relations, and public protection.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Coordination: Coordinate the general operations of the airport's facilities and equipment, including airline operations, ground transportation, airport security, tenant/public relations, and public protection.
  • Incident Response: Respond to passenger injuries, coordinate medical assistance, and provide written documentation of each incident.
  • Security and Safety: Dispatch personnel to security alarms, complete FOD inspections, and coordinate ramp sweeping/scrubbing.
  • Airside and Landside Operations: Monitor airside and landside operations, customer services, security, CBP (when applicable), airport tenants, and partner airlines.
  • Life-Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with F.A.R. regulations and operational requests from the FAA, CBP, DOA, and partner airlines.
  • Record Keeping: Record aircraft arrivals, departures, and other data for billing purposes.
  • Tenant and User Support: Respond to tenant and user needs.
  • Facilities and Equipment Maintenance: Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly working environment and equipment.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; college degree or active college student preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent, proven interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to interact and represent the Company with airport tenants, state and federal authorities, and other organizations on a professional level.
  • Driving and Transportation: Possess a valid Georgia driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
  • Computer Skills: General knowledge of computer applications, software, and hardware.
