Job Responsibilities

Location: Denville, New Jersey

Travel Requirements: 40% domestic and international travel

Work Schedule: Full-time

Reporting Structure: Reports to the Chief Operating Officer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of high-performance active ingredients and natural technology solutions tailored to meet specific consumer demands.
  • Manage two product categories – natural synergy products and intelligent natural ingredients – driving the overall business development strategy and growth initiatives across various consumer benefit segments.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to create an integrated product portfolio that aligns with consumer needs.
  • Establish a technology and innovation pipeline focused on consumer benefit platforms, partnering with Research & Development and Marketing teams.
  • Participate in scientific conferences to identify emerging trends, analyze competition, and promote products at industry events.
  • Work alongside Marketing Managers and stakeholders to devise a comprehensive market entry strategy and implement plans to achieve growth and profitability targets, including pricing strategies and project management.
  • Develop innovative, profitable, and consumer-centric business plans by leveraging expertise in natural synergy products and intelligent natural ingredients.
  • Oversee product portfolio management through technical assessments, competitive analysis, market data, and consumer feedback.
  • Coordinate with Marketing Managers to ensure successful product launches and promotional campaigns, providing insights on global market requirements.
  • Engage with suppliers and distributors to maximize sales opportunities for various active ingredients.
  • Support the sales and marketing efforts of the product portfolio by collaborating with customers and distributors.
  • Assist in the implementation and scaling of new technologies developed.
Qualifications

Educational Background:

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field, along with a Master's degree in Business or a related discipline. A minimum of three years of experience in business development and product solutions within the personal care sector is required.

Experience Requirements:

  • Proven track record of achieving sales objectives and executing growth strategies.
  • Experience in managing product lines and collaborating with internal teams to enhance revenue generation and ensure effective product delivery.
  • Familiarity with chemical manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with specialty ingredients in the personal care industry.
  • Proven ability to manage relationships with customers and distributors in the personal care sector.
  • Experience delivering technical presentations at international events or trade shows.
