Job Overview

Position: Financial Operations Analyst

Contract Duration: 8 months

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute daily back-office operational tasks, including but not limited to account transfers, address modifications, fund distributions, DTC transactions, year-end tax documentation, and charitable contributions.
  • Engage with Reporting and Technology teams to address and resolve reporting discrepancies as they arise.
  • Assist clients with requests for financial statements and tax-related documents such as 1099s and K1s.
  • Demonstrate initiative and strong problem-solving capabilities while thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effectively organize, prioritize, and manage multiple responsibilities while keeping the team informed on ongoing tasks.


Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in brokerage or securities middle-office or back-office operations.
  • Experience in daily processing and reconciliation in areas such as:
    1. Account transfers (ACATS and non-ACATS)
    2. Corporate Actions and Reorganizations
    3. Dividends and Interest
    4. Mutual Funds
    5. Purchases and Sales
    6. Settlements
    7. Stock Record Management
  • Familiarity with systems such as BetaNXT Beta, Broadridge, or FIS/SunGard Phase 3 is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to thoroughly understand the organization’s products, systems, and specific client requirements.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and capability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team while taking individual accountability for the quality and accuracy of work.
  • Must be a self-motivated individual with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to perform well in a fast-paced setting.
  • Capable of organizing, prioritizing, and managing multiple tasks while keeping the team updated on progress.
