Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Compensation Analytics Architect to oversee the metrics related to sales incentives for our key end-user clients. This role is essential in enhancing the analytical capabilities within the Compensation team, providing our sales leaders with the necessary data and insights to foster a high-performance culture. The primary focus will be on developing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and assessing performance for both existing and newly established sales teams. Emphasis will be placed on ETL processes, data architecture, and the standardization of data sets to facilitate streamlined and consistent reporting insights.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with business units and various departments within Sales Operations to guide KPI development from inception through testing to final implementation.
  • Design, test, and deploy analytical solutions utilizing tools such as Alteryx, SQL, and others.
  • Create impactful data visualizations with Tableau or similar software to generate business insights.
  • Identify and spearhead initiatives for process automation and simplification.

Reporting Structure:
  • This position will report directly to the Compensation Analytics Manager.
Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for applying creativity to resolve complex challenges.
  • Technical proficiency in ETL/data blending tools and processes (e.g., Alteryx, Informatica, SSIS) and database/data architecture (e.g., SQL, Redshift).
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly in conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Exceptional project management capabilities, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Compensation, Analytics, Finance, or related fields.
  • A BS/MS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
