Schneider Electric is seeking a talented individual for the role of Software Inside Sales Representative within our Secure Power Division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting proactive outbound sales calls to identify opportunities and arrange meetings with potential software clients.
  • Collaborating closely with Account Managers and sales teams across the Secure Power organization to devise and implement effective sales strategies for software solutions.
  • Assisting North America Sales teams by creating proposals and quotes, supporting collaborative meetings, and partnering with external software sales representatives to manage the software sales pipeline and secure business deals.
  • This role demands innovative thinking, exceptional organizational abilities, and a solution-oriented approach to engage with various stakeholders, including C-level executives within medium to large enterprises.
Qualifications for Success:

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience, alongside 3-5 years of prior sales experience targeting medium and large enterprise clients. A proven history of successful cold calling, with at least 2 years in the IT sector or experience selling data center-related products, is essential. Experience in software sales is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of business processes, IT trends, profit and loss management, market strategies, and financial terminology is expected.
  • Exemplary leadership, time management, advanced organizational skills, and problem-solving capabilities are crucial, along with the ability to convey technical information in an accessible manner.
  • Ability to cultivate and sustain productive relationships with assigned accounts is necessary. Superior verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Proficiency in personal computer usage is mandatory.
Reporting Structure:
  • Reports to the Sales Director - Secure Power Software Datacenter.
