Position Overview: Areté is in search of a motivated Program Manager to oversee one of the Integrated Product Teams (IPT) within the Maritime Airborne Sector (MAS).

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the performance of related programs by collaborating with IPT Leads to efficiently oversee and communicate business status, including schedule performance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating program scope, staffing resources, risk, schedule, costs, budgets, and deliverables for both internally and externally funded initiatives.
  • Building relationships with essential sector members to enhance business operations and streamline workflows.
  • Creating and implementing business tools and metrics as defined by Sector Leadership.
  • Identifying opportunities for operational efficiencies and recommending improvements to Sector Leadership.
  • Managing initiatives as directed by Sector Leadership.

For specific capture efforts, the candidate will coordinate various aspects of the business capture process, including proposal team formation, proposal development, program costing, and contract negotiations.

Additionally, the candidate will engage in MAS business capture planning activities, including periodic pipeline reviews and opportunity gate assessments, while interacting with all levels within the MAS Sector and Areté Corporate teams.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in program management related to DoD funded programs.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business management, or a related field with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
  • Familiarity with the proposal writing process and basis of estimates within the DoD.
  • Strong leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with presentation capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, and SharePoint.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.

Additional Information: U.S. citizenship is required for this position. Selected candidates will undergo a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. A background check and drug test will also be required.
