About the Role:

The Critical Care Coordinator will be responsible for providing program coordination and administrative support for the Sound Physicians Critical Care program at designated hospitals.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary contact for Sound Critical Care (SCC) hospital programs.
  • Provide operational and administrative services, including coding, billing, payroll, MD schedule support, data review, meeting scheduling, and calendar management.
  • Support multiple SCC sites as assigned, offering both on-site and virtual assistance.
  • Collaborate with on-site hospital partners and assist the Program Medical Director (PMD) in team meetings and coordination with hospital teams.
  • Organize and create presentations using Excel and PowerPoint for Sound or hospital leadership.
  • Manage incoming communications for the local SCC team, ensuring timely responses to priority items.
  • Conduct census reconciliation by gathering and distributing necessary data from providers.
  • Engage with the PMD or Regional Medical Director (RMD) promptly when providers do not submit census information.
  • Maintain the SCC office, including a reliable filing system for census management.
  • Assist in onboarding processes for various types of providers at local and virtual sites.
  • Support PMD and RMD in tracking locum shifts and managing scheduling changes.
  • Exemplify exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Facilitate scheduling for physician interviews and manage related logistics.
  • Assist with data management, tracking, and preparing quality reports as required.
  • Ensure onboarding logistics are in place for new intensivists and follow up on off-boarding processes.
  • Coordinate credentialing and privileging processes for hospitalists.
  • Maintain an updated contact list for providers and manage office supply orders.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree or an Associate Degree with equivalent work experience.

Compensation:
Pay range is $22-$30 per hour, determined by candidate experience, geographical location, and program complexity.
