CG Life is seeking a seasoned Creative Director with extensive experience in digital omni-channel marketing. In this pivotal role, the Creative Director will be tasked with delivering innovative and impactful creative solutions across a multitude of communication platforms. This leadership position requires leveraging expertise in design, copywriting, and digital user experiences to exemplify creative excellence for both team members and project stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will possess proven leadership capabilities, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to foster collaboration among various internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Leading the Creative Team

  • Inspire and guide a talented team of art directors, designers, content strategists, copywriters, and producers to produce outstanding creative work within the life sciences sector.
  • Champion the evolution of creative processes and tools to enhance quality and efficiency, driving continuous improvement.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop creative talent to scale our creative outputs effectively.
  • Provide ongoing training, constructive feedback, and support to creative teams, including conducting annual performance evaluations.
  • Communicate workload challenges to the Resourcing Manager, advocating for the necessary time to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Stay informed on design trends, advertising technologies, and cultural shifts to create relevant digital products and branding.

Collaboration with Clients & Internal Teams

  • Demonstrate strategic collaboration with client teams, agency creatives, and account managers.
  • Build credibility with clients by understanding their business and managing relationships effectively.
  • Promote bold, transformative ideas aligned with omni-channel marketing strategies, thinking conceptually for comprehensive digital brand campaigns.
  • Present creative concepts to clients and internal teams with exceptional clarity.
  • Assist in developing or reviewing creative briefs that provide strategic insights and inspiration.
  • Educate clients on design best practices, usability, and emerging trends.
  • Engage with high-profile clients, understanding their motivations and objectives.
  • Oversee the execution process to ensure creative excellence in all deliverables.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in creative roles within agencies, specifically with omni-channel pharmaceutical clients.
  • At least 5 years of experience in managing and leading creative teams.
  • Comprehensive understanding of core creative disciplines.
  • A robust portfolio showcasing effective design, copy, and digital user experiences.
  • Digitally adept, with knowledge in interaction design, information architecture, and user experience.
  • Ability to generate original ideas and communicate them confidently.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to balance big-picture thinking with attention to detail.
  • Capability to provide clear creative direction and timely feedback to teams.
