Position Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Accountant to become part of our expanding team. In this role, you will manage all financial operations associated with our pharmacy business and SaaS platform. Your responsibilities will include bookkeeping, financial reporting, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in pharmacy retail operations alongside experience in technology-driven SaaS environments. Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Transaction Management: Supervise bookkeeping activities, ensuring the precise and timely documentation of financial transactions.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile bank statements and financial records to confirm accuracy.
  • Financial Reporting: Collaborate with the CFO to manage the financial dimensions of operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reports.
  • Accounts Management: Oversee accounts payable and receivable to guarantee prompt payments and maintain healthy cash flow.
  • Payroll Processing: Assist in payroll processing and maintain accurate employee payroll records.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with various teams to support business initiatives and provide valuable financial insights.
  • Tax and Audit Support: Prepare and submit tax documents and assist in financial audits.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards and regulations, implementing effective internal controls to mitigate financial risks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Strong analytical abilities, capable of translating financial data into actionable insights.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
  • A proactive attitude and dedication to delivering high-quality service.
  • Authorization to work in the United States is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA certification or active pursuit of certification.
  • Experience in pharmacy-related accounting.
