Beacon Hill Financial is seeking a meticulous Lead Financial Analyst to join our esteemed client in D.C. This role is pivotal in overseeing financial operations while ensuring precision and adherence to all accounting regulations. The perfect candidate will possess a robust understanding of the complete month-end closing cycle and demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with various teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and supervise all functions within the finance department, guaranteeing compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Generate and interpret financial statements, reports, and forecasts regularly, offering valuable insights and suggestions to upper management.
  • Steer the month-end and year-end closing activities, which include reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries.
  • Oversee and uphold internal controls, pinpointing areas for enhancement and applying best practices to protect company resources.
  • Guide and develop a team of junior financial analysts, providing mentorship and support for their career growth.
  • Engage with auditors and tax advisors, facilitating audits and ensuring timely and precise submissions.
  • Assess and refine financial processes, utilizing technology and automation to boost efficiency and accuracy.
  • Participate in special initiatives, such as system upgrades, mergers/acquisitions, or process enhancements, as required.
