Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Analysis: Classify, monitor, and summarize financial data for the preparation and submission of reports on a recurring basis.
  • Cost/Benefit Analysis: Provide cost/benefit study, financial analysis, analysis of alternatives, return on investment, cost estimation, present value, and other analyses in support of capital planning and investment control.
  • Financial Project Management: Prepare, coordinate, and document complex financial analysis projects such as financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation, working capital, and investments.
  • Forecasting and Trend Analysis: Prepare forecasts and analysis of trends in manufacturing, sales, finance, general business conditions, and other related areas.
  • Competitive Analysis: Identify trends and developments in competitive environments and present findings to senior management.
  • Special Studies: Conduct special financial and business-related studies and cooperate with other departments in the preparation of analyses.
  • Financial Reporting: Create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensure financial information has been recorded accurately.
  • Financial Forecasting and Reconciliation: Perform financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a business-related subject area such as accounting, finance, or economics is required plus 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Master's Degree or MBA in related field may be substituted for bachelor's degree and 3 years' experience.
  • PhD in related field may be substituted for bachelor's degree and 7 years' experience.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a MRPT.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience relevant to knowledge of FAA Accounting practices, Government appropriation process, or Office of Management and Budgets 300 development support.
