Job Description

At Iterum, we are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis and reporting to support our private equity clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cash Reconciliation: Monitor and review cash reconciliations prepared by the Operations Team, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Journal Entries: Prepare and post journal entries to third-party middle office platforms, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Accounting Data Analysis: Monitor, analyze, and reconcile accounting data produced by third-party administrators, including investor statements, performance reports, and financial statements.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly and quarterly fund financial reporting packages, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Reconcile accounting data for regulatory compliance filings, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Investor Capital Roll Forward: Perform investor capital roll forward analytics, breaking out capital activity and performance numbers.
  • Ad-Hoc Requests: Prepare ad-hoc investor requests, including investor performance summaries, capital activity summaries, and audit confirmations.
  • Communication: Maintain frequent communication with internal departments and third-party middle office and administrators.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Industry Experience: Industry experience preferred, particularly in private equity funds, hedge funds, and financial instruments.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced computer skills on MS Office, particularly Excel, and basic understanding of Microsoft SQL.
  • Soft Skills: High attention to detail and accuracy, ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment, self-motivation, and ability to maintain an organized and prioritized workload.
