Job Summary

As a Business Development Manager at Comcast Corporation, you will be responsible for driving the sales of Comcast Business strategic products and solutions in new markets. You will develop and manage relationships with mid-market and enterprise, multi-location commercial customers through direct and partner channels. Your primary goal will be to position the Comcast Business brand as a key component of the sales strategy, in keeping with Comcast's touchstones.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop the strategy of the sales territory, including identifying strategic partnerships, planning the development of a territory, and cultivating of local partnerships and organizational affiliations.
  2. Actively researches and generates new leads with targeted businesses through various prospecting activities, including cold calling, canvassing, customer referrals and partner relationships.
  3. Builds relationships and drives alignment and regular communication between key GTM partners.
  4. Creates and delivers face-to-face sales presentations to strategic prospective clients that demonstrate knowledge of the latest Comcast products and services.
  5. Sells with goals of exceeding departmental financial and unit targets.
  6. Stays abreast of competitive landscape and emerging technologies to best position Comcast Business Services in the marketplace.
  7. Retains customer base by delivering on the Comcast credo, ensuring a superior customer experience.
  8. Maintains and builds customer relationship to drive customer retention.
  9. Works with internal teams to ensure operational efficiencies and service levels meet and exceed customer expectations through strong customer service orientation with excellent follow up skills.
  10. Maintains accurate and quality sales records and prepares sales and activity reports as required.
  11. Attends out-of-the-office meeting with customers on a regular basis and demonstrates excellent verbal and written skills including presenting, persuading, and negotiating.
  12. Demonstrates some knowledge of Network Design, SDWAN, and Network Security.

  • 5-7 Years of Relevant Work Experience
