Position Overview

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Civil Engineer to become part of our Land Development division. This role presents an exciting chance to engage in various land development initiatives, ranging from residential neighborhoods to commercial and industrial projects. Your responsibilities will include designing and overseeing projects, drafting engineering reports and plans, and ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal regulations. This position demands a hands-on approach, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a solid grasp of civil engineering principles.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and oversee land development projects, including site layout, grading, drainage, roadways, and utilities.
2. Prepare and revise engineering reports, plans, and drawings.
3. Conduct on-site evaluations to verify compliance with engineering specifications.
4. Collaborate with project teams, clients, and regulatory bodies.
5. Execute engineering calculations and analyses.
6. Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and specifications.
7. Participate in project meetings and provide technical assistance to project teams.
8. Stay informed about industry trends, technologies, and regulations.
9. Ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion.
10. Mentor and support junior engineers and technicians.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
2. Possession of a Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer in Training (EIT) certification is required.
3. A minimum of 2 years of experience in land development engineering.
4. Proficiency in Civil 3D and other relevant engineering software.
5. Strong understanding of local, state, and federal land development regulations and guidelines.
6. Excellent problem-solving capabilities and critical thinking skills.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet tight deadlines.
9. High attention to detail and accuracy in work output.
10. Strong organizational and project management abilities.
11. Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
12. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as necessary.
