RH2 Engineering is on the lookout for a skilled and cooperative Senior Civil Engineering Project Specialist. This role involves collaborating with fellow team members in the planning, design, and oversight of various infrastructure projects including water, wastewater, irrigation, stormwater management, and transportation systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee design initiatives and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Take on project management responsibilities for smaller-scale projects
  • Engage directly with clients and regulatory agencies
  • Support project engineering and marketing activities across a range of assignments
  • Guide and mentor Engineers-In-Training (EIT) or junior engineers

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience, ideally in public sector consulting
  • Proven experience in water and/or wastewater system planning and design, including pipelines, collection systems, pump stations, storage facilities, and treatment processes
  • Capability to support projects from initial design through to construction completion
  • Familiarity with local and regional design standards and their application in engineering tasks
  • Experience in coordinating with other engineers and permitting bodies, along with client interactions
  • Possession of a current Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Oregon

Compensation Overview

Compensation for this position will be competitive and will vary based on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience, within the range of $41.00-$56.00/hour. RH2 Engineering is committed to supporting a healthy work/life balance and offers overtime compensation for hours worked beyond the standard 40-hour work week.
