Position Overview

We are looking for a part-time team member who will play a crucial role within our organization. This position will assist with human resources, clerical, and administrative duties, including:

  • Embracing a growth mindset
  • Enhancing company culture and team bonding through celebrations
  • Advertising for and onboarding new employees
  • Reviewing and filtering job candidates
  • Organizing HR files and maintaining records
  • Managing HR projects related to compliance, organization, and employee relations
  • Contributing innovative ideas for policy and process enhancements
  • Responding to calls and messages from team members and clients
  • Being adaptable and supporting various business areas as needed
  • Facilitating daily administrative support for BMA
Knowledge and Experience

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or demonstrate an equivalent level of formal training/education in human resources. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional services environment is required, with a preference for candidates with industry experience in architecture, engineering, or construction.

Key qualifications include:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • A motivation to take ownership of work from concept to completion
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision while knowing when to seek guidance
