Position Overview:
The HR Specialist and Financial Coordinator is tasked with overseeing the finance and accounting functions while providing critical financial insights that aid management in making informed strategic decisions for the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, ensuring the integrity of accounting records and compliance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
2. Manage payroll processes and human resources functions, including recruitment, job descriptions, and performance evaluations.
3. Utilize QuickBooks for all accounting operations, including cash flow management, accounts payable, and bank reconciliations.
4. Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate financial risks.
5. Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and adherence to budgetary constraints.
6. Prepare annual business property tax returns and other compliance-related documentation as required.

Human Resources Responsibilities:
1. Assist in recruitment and staffing processes, ensuring alignment with organizational needs.
2. Facilitate employee orientation, training, and development programs.
3. Manage employee relations and communication across the company.
4. Oversee compensation and benefits administration, including health insurance and retirement plans.
5. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain accurate personnel records.

Qualifications:
1. Proven experience in accounting and human resources management.
2. Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting software, particularly QuickBooks.
3. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
4. Ability to work collaboratively across departments to achieve financial and operational goals.

Compensation: Up to $30.00 per hour
