Our client is looking for a dedicated human resources specialist to support their thriving legal practice. This position is ideal for individuals with a minimum of 2 years of experience in human resources, preferably within a legal setting. The role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including payroll processing, recruitment, onboarding, and facilitating daily operational tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in daily HR and administrative functions, reporting to the Office Manager
- Maintain accurate human resources records and documentation
- Process payroll on a bi-weekly schedule
- Support bi-weekly 401(k) contributions
- Coordinate nominations for awards in various publications
- Facilitate the interview process, including selection and preparation of materials
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes for employees
- Ensure efficient daily office operations
- Assist in planning and managing firm events, both on-site and off-site
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to foster cross-departmental collaboration
